In theory any tune that has a B, can be used as a High B instead. In theory. Some tunes may work better than others, some maybe not so much.

A High-A Gracenote is actually played with the thumb, not the ring finger.


So to play correctly you would play F, thumb grace and lift the pointer.

Muscle memory works best if the skill is practiced until it becomes a ‘gross motor function’ - meaning in a fight or flight scenario the skill could be recalled.

It takes 100s of flawless...

Then always dress to the climate.

If it’s +40C you’d be hard pressed to find me in a doublet and feather bonnet lol

I prefer a dress shirt, tie and regular poly blend vest, it would work well...

Have him work on the scale, grace notes/embellishments (on playable notes) and theory.
