Re: Alternative bagpipe mounts.

Go to Roddy MacLellan's page. Not only will he do extremely custom work, but it's of the highest quality and superior design. I've seen some of the most beautiful and some of the not so beautiful...

Re: Favorite Composers

I'm in agreement with most of the leading composers (Donald Macleod, the P MacLeods, Gordon Duncan, MacLennan, Ross, Lawrie, MacLellan, etc.). Some less well-known composers I enjoy are Angus Lawrie,...

Re: ABW-Ebony Distinction

I asked a pipemaker this and he said that it is difficult. He said that if he could see the grain, it was likely ABW.

Re: Manometer

If you use one, then you’ll know information about your playing. If you don’t you won’t. Piper’s Dojo has a nice one at a good price (it’s what I use). Or build your own.

Lots of folks say they...

Re: How many sets do you 'run' at a time?

Re: Is travel to the UK in October a good idea?

1. Brexit doesn't happen until October 31
2. The pound-to-dollar exchange will likely be favorable
