Take YouTube with a grain of salt. You can get beginners posting instructional videos.

Sometimes, during learning the D-throw, the Low-G is emphasized since it is often rushed and essentially disappears. Eventually, you'd expect it to sound the same length as the rest of the grace notes that compose the throw. That said, it's music and open to interpretation. As someone else said, play it as your instructor shows you. And if you don't have one, it's very much in your best interest to find one.
