Thanks JB - that timeline was something I was looking for. I'm at 6 weeks now; did a full chanter practice (90 min) with the band last night. Another couple weeks and I will at least try the pipes. Might be a little longer - my sternum seems to be healing slowly, and the docs tell me that bones take 12 weeks so be patient.

But wanting to get back on for the fall concert and parade season.
