Patrick J. Brady


BRADY - Patrick J. , longtime resident of Williston Park, NY, died peacefully at The Little Sisters of the Poor-Jeanne Jugan Residence, Bronx, NY on March 13, 2012. Pat was a member of The St.Laurence O'Toole Pipe Band who in 1958 won All Ireland Senior Championship and Open Drumming Prize. After relocating to NY Paddy played with the County Tyrone Pipe Band in the early 1960's.
. He was also a member of St Aidans Holy Name Society and a longtime employee/manager at Macy's Garden Center. Survived by his Brother, Francis, nieces and nephews and many caring friends. Visitation Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Weigand Bros Funeral Home 49 Hillside Ave., Williston Park, NY. Funeral Mass Monday 10:00am St Aidan's Church. Interment St Charles Cemetery.

Wow - I met Pat about 1964 about when he was at the home of the Pipe Major and Founder of Tyrone Pipe Band Tom McSwiggan-Pat was a Bass drummer-I guess he just came over from Ireland
Mr Mc Swiggan was giving me lessons at the time
Mr Mc Swiggan had previously passed away
Never realized he was so close by
RIP to both of them
