This weekend I bought at the local Poundland shop a CD called "Irish Pipes & Drums", a 2011 compilation by Demon Music Group, number THERB186.
The CD has 11 tracks and a total running time of 44 minutes; for just £1 (one pound) that is good value for money. There are 5 tracks by the Irish Guards, 4 by the Royal Irish Rangers and 2 by the Queen's Royal Irish Hussars. But in case you already have the CD "The Sound of the Bagpipes" (Hallmark 302782) you will notice that 7 out of the 11 tracks on "Irish Pipes & Drums" come from that CD. And 2 of the tracks played by the Royal Irish Rangers are listed as played by the Queen's Own Highlanders on "The Sound of the Bagpipes"! Aad |

Sounds like a great CD. Are there snippets of any of the songs on ITunes?
