Spalpeen and District is a drum corps. No pipers. We're just a bunch of old friends who have played against each other for a long time and decided to put together a drum line. Just a fun thing to keep our skill levels polished. No real leadeer, but I've nominated Dave Keachie to be the DS. I'm sure he's please with me.

All of the pipers have run out of patience with us. Besides, all of the drum corps in Utah are doing just dandy without us. More power to them.

Ah, give yourself more credit Bruce. You're not that big of a pain in the ass!

I know that the games being a one-day contest puts off a few, but on the positive side you have Sunday as a travel day, so most would only need to take Friday off if they're traveling from out of state. If only we could convince some G3 people to travel so that our G3 would have a contest.

I'm looking forward to meeting you all, and hopefully listening to you play. (Can you tell I'm excited?)
Actually, I think there will be 3 Colorado bands there; it's my understanding that Michael Collins Pipes and Drums is going as well.
And a one-day contest is a plus in my book!

There will be a lot more than 4-5 Utah bands... should be more like:
Wasatch G3
Wasatch G4
Wasatch G5
Salt Lake G4
Utah G4
Utah G5?
White Peaks G4
Payson G5
Galloway G4
Ben Lomond G5

Hope I haven't forgotten anyone.

I love my friends. I was just about to qualify what Justin commented about me, but Drew has done so with eloquence.
