Default Patreon for piobaireachd

We [Allan MacDonald and Thomas Zoeller] now only need $280 to launch our Patreon Canntaireachd project that gives the performance of a whole piece as it would have been played in the 17thC.
The tune is 'The Unjust Incarceration' with canntaireachd, information on the tune etc.
Try it! You will be surprised at how easy piobaireachd is and what 'colonisation' and interference by outsiders has done to our unique music from Gaelic Scotland.

Default Re: Patreon for piobaireachd

Allow me to help clarify a bit:

The Canntaireachd Project, the brainchild of Thomas Zoeller and Allan MacDonald, is looking for subscribers to fund their project of recording the entire Campbell Canntaireachd.

All it takes is a pledge to pay $5 for each released publication (including a recording, interviews and PDFs of the tune published). If you agree to pay more ($10, $25 for each published recording), you get more.

They need pledges totaling $1000 for each recording, and are up to $750. Only $250 more in pledges are needed for them to begin.

This would be a monstrously great legacy for future pipers, bringing these songs* out off the pages of antiquity and back into our ears after hundreds of years of neglect.

Go and donate: $5 for each publication. (Ignore the horrible English "per Per creation", which means exactly what I'm saying, but is badly phrased).
