No, they're not Naills. My guess is another set of pipes based on Hendersons at least loosely. Fletchers, maybe?

I was joking, I should have put a ;-) wink after my question.
There are lots of other variables besides drone bores and brands of reeds. Bores and reed design very are important no doubt, but sit down and make a list of all the other variables that can affect the sound. Start at the bottom with the bag and work your way up to the person on the end of the blow stick. ![]() |

I have MG reeds that came with my 2016 ABW Dunbar set, and it produces a very tenor dominant sound, then I tried a set of Canning reeds, and then the Bass drone was BOOMING! The tenors were much more mellow too.
