They did bring the visible CPL’s back. As I heard it, some competitors (not sure if band or solo) got stroppy about their CPL and gave judges flack. If this is the case, then I understand why they chose to do that - it seems incredibly rude and disrespectful to call out a judge on their experienced assessment of playing ability and musicality.
I do like to see my CPL’s and find them useful. Charlie
