Default Broken Blackwood PC Help

I have had a MacMurchie standard size blackwood practice chanter for about 15+ years. A few months ago, I knocked it off the stand I keep it on, and the impact put a v-shaped cracked at the top, near the hi A hole.

I'm wondering if any DIY'ers would be willing to help me get this back to working order? Unfortunately for me, pipe makers want close to the price of a new chanter to repair it, and it's just not feasible.

PM me. I'm in PA.

Thanks,
Bill

If it's still intact, with no pieces outstanding, just put some epoxy along the fresh crack edges, then bind it tightly with stout cord to close the wound. Let it dry for a few days, then carefully scrape and carve to remove the excess dry epoxy, and voila!

Without pictures to see the actual damage, that's the best I can offer.
