Default Bagpipe Supplier in St. Louis Metro?

I am going to be in STL next week and would like to pick up a new copy of the Green Book and a couple PC reeds.

Does anyone know of a shop in the area that is still operational? I know APPS Reeds is down the road in Union, MO but I don't believe they have an actual store front.

I have lived in STL for 30 years now...no piping shops that I am aware of.

Thats disappointing but I guess not all that surprising. Seems that we are more and more dependent on the internet if even the major cities don't have brick and mortar shops left.

We had a dealer. She focused on pipes/reeds/pieces and parts.
I'm sure she would have sold the Green Book/etc., but likely special order. You might be able to find it in the occasional traditional music store, but those are a rarity these days too.

There's only 50 or so of us in town....so....catering to us would be awfully difficult.

I probably have 2 or 3 of those books around somewhere. I'll see if I can find one easily and we can meet up in a parking lot.

John,
That would be great if you can find one without too much trouble. Mine went missing in a move a couple years ago and still hasn't turned up despite several hours of digging.

I'll dig around my stuff. I've acquired them from students over the years. I use other materials when I teach.
Just a matter of finding one.

Having lived there myself... and for several to many years... 'tis
all rather reminiscent... of that old military/Army remark... about
G-4 and S-4 (Division & Regimental Supplies) bollixes... that
were guaranteed... to happen...

To wit...

There is a C0P green book on eBay right now. Starting price is under five dollars for $20 delivery and includes a Hardie practice chanter.

Here’s the eBat item number: 264459179390
