Default Help identifying this set of pipes...

I have been given the opportunity to purchase this set of "brand new used three times" pipes at what I believe is a very good price but the seller isn't a piper (bought these, had kids, gave up) and doesn't have much info. Researching McCallum photos says they are most likely a P4 with imitation ivory mounts and Celtic engraving on the ferrules and slides but I'd like a second opinion to be sure. Unfortunately these photos are all I have at the moment.

Here is the McCallum P4 I was comparing these to for identification:

I'd say the McCallum name and the date stamped on the slide pretty much nail it.

Thanks Bob. Unfortunately it looks like someone else grabbed them today before I could.

I have the same exact set of pipes! Same year and everything! Right down to the color of black bag, red bag piping, red cords, engraving! No, I didn't buy that set as mine was from my instructor who is a dealer and got them new for me. Weird to see another set just like mine!
