Hello All,
Hope everyone is well. A request for a few ideas. I bought a brand new 5 tail military spec feather bonnet. They look fantastic. However I'm having difficulty getting a case. At present I am using a brand new plastic waste paper bin as its the closest I could get to the bonnets size. But looks very unprofessional. Any place I could buy a good lightweight carry case? Thank you to everyone... |

![]() Ah, majorvonhapen, I haven't the foggiest as to whether any liquids come in 5 gallon plastic buckets... in Ireland... but for any feather bonnets... that is the best thing... over here. They are sturdy, weigh damned little... and are cheap. They also last... forever... :) and I'm still using one that I have had some 30-odd years... and airlines have yet to even make a dent in it.... or ruffle a bonnet. :) See if you can find an equivalent there... and if you can... I would hazard that you shall be... well pleased with it!! And if you... for some reason... can't... then send one of us a shout... and by hook or crook... someone here will send one over to you. (Gotta stick together!! :) Good Luck with it!! Regards, Pip01

In metric, the closest equivalent would be a 20 litre bucket.

el gaitero, Not... per se... but as these containers do now come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes... and I have seen many that are wider and shorter than the standard 5 gallon ones... it shouldn't be too difficult to discover and acquire one. Wishing you... the best of Good Fortune with it!! Pip01

I'm in Ireland and I keep mine in the sturdy box it came in. It has worked for about ten years now.

Thank you to you all for your kind and informative replies!
I'm now searching for a bucket with a lid, as I tried the DIY stores here in Ireland before this but to no avail, but am now going to try paint depots etc. Thanks also to Pip01 for his kind offer of trying to send a bucket!!!! most kind! but I should be ok.... kind regards to all... Patrick. |
