Default Information about Angus MacDonald?

Can anyone give me any information about Angus MacDonald, the author of the Piper of Loos? I can find lots about Laidlaw, but little about Angus. When was he born, where, where did he work, etc.
Thanks for any help you can give me.

Default Re: Information about Angus MacDonald?

Jeannie Campbell would be the one to contact. During the "Pipers and Pipe Music of the Great War" concerts in Glasgow, she produced the programme, which eventually morphed into a wee book. This contained biographies of the pipers. I believe Jeannie also has the original hand written manuscript of the tune Piper of Loos.

I had a copy of Jeannie's book, but I am not a collector and gave it to a friend.
