Default Crossing the Sabine - New Piper Jones Band album

EJ Jones' new album has been out for a bit but I just picked it up and had a listen while I was playing taxi for the kiddos.

If you're familiar with EJ's previous album "The Wandering Stars", his solo album "The Willow", or even just Clandestine albums, you know he always has some good tunes with fantastic arrangements, and this one is no exception.

Get it, and his others, if you haven't already, here:

Since YouTube videos generally get a lot of hits more than sound recordings, here are the two main musicians you'll find on Crossing the Sabine:

I pre-ordered it when he announced the project. I love it.

Originally EJ said it would be a demo and then after a year of touring there would be two "real" albums -- one featuring him and one featuring Frances. But then he said the perfectionists in them both took over and they went ahead and made an album from the tracks they recorded.
