Default Big bore extendable blowpipe valve problem

Has anyone replaced the valve in one of these ? It seems to be a 2 piece item , the pull up mouthpiece and the body , doesn't seem to unscrew anywhere and I'm running out of options thanks for any help

I have a blowpipe that matches that description. I put a Moose Valve on it a few years ago, it's worked great.

A kettle of boiling water dribbled slowly on one section so it doesn't run onto the other section-might help loosen them to get to the valve part.. Keep the water receiving section downward...into a sink. Iirc somebody here had success with this method not too long ago.

Wonder if you could file two small opposing flats on each section ...so you could use a pair of adjustable spanners next time.... ( ha...funny...spellcheck kept insting on writing spammers)

Sometimes wrapping a couple of wide rubber bands around the offending parts helps in twisting them apart.
