Default Great 6/8 competition tunes

I have a couple of favorite 6/8 tunes that I play, but wanted to learn another one. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a great grade 2 6/8 competition march tune. How about Raabs Wedding? Is it too easy for grade 2 or would it be appropriate?

I'm not sure there's really much to 6/8 competitions regarding tune difficulty. Pick one you like and keep it lively. With a tune like Rab's, make sure you keep the tempo up and swinging.

Tempo is an often underutilized part of the melody; speaking both for tunes played too slowly (for the sake of cumbersome technique) and too fast (for tunes that may not actually have a melody, so you have to keep it interesting somehow).

Donald McLean of Lewis, Murdo MacKenzie of Torridon are two that
have a somewhat higher degree of difficulty than most.

I have competed in gr3 with PM Sam Scott. To me, it has really good lift and fun 3rd and 4th parts.

If anyone looks for this tune in the Pekaar Encyclopedia, it is listed as:

O'er the Hills to Inveraray

So if your search used "over", as mine did, it wouldn't show up in the results.

Quick link to the results here.
