Default Sound File Sharing Help

With the corona-virus shut down I've been doing quite a bit of practice and want to do some more recording, especially as I am getting a lot more tunes on the pipe that I got from instructors over the past few years. Used to, if someone wanted to hire me and asked for sound files, I would email them MP3 files of my recorded tunes. I've been thinking of trying something like Soundcloud to store files online that I could steer folks to. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Cheers -

At 36, I’m probably old and grumpy but I HATE soundcloud.

Initially their audio quality sucked and you had the option to download to actually get quality.

Now they always start some random song after the recording you’re listening to ends.

You have to log in to have any control. I hate it. How they became a default mp3 provider, I have no idea.

But that’s just me. Having my own website has allowed me to not have to worry about hosting my audio though. Sorry for having no solution!

Using Dropbox, or its ilk, works well for what you’re describing you need.
