Default Row Me Home to Islay

Hi,

Does anyone know whom composed the tune/song "Row Me Home to Islay"? I've played it for several years and have always wondered who composed it.

Lots of misinformation about this tune.

It's listed as a "traditional bagpipe tune" in some places and a "traditional song" in others, but I'm always suspicious of anything "traditional" from the Western Isles that has the words or the title in English rather than Gàidhlig, so I looked it up in the PRS database and it was written by an E McNally who registered it as a new composition on the 10th May 1999, so the "traditional" listings are very wrong. PRS also state it's never been published anywhere.

Thanks Adam.

Yeah, I've never seen a score. I learned it by listening to it on the cd "Salute to Stirling Castle'" by the Argylls and transcribing.
