Default CWAC pipe band

In looking into an inquiry I was told about the Canadian Women's Army Corps pipe band in WW11. I asked a friend, a piper and WW11 veteran, if he had ever heard of them. "Oh yes", he replied, "they played for my unit at the end of 1945 when we were stationed in Utrecht, Holland. There were about a dozen pipers and six drummers from all over Canada. They were very good and put on quite a show".
Can anyone give me any more information about them, and perhaps the name of the pipe major?

This is the Canadian Women's Army Corps pipe band in Apeldoorn, Netherlands, August 13, 1945.

Pipe Major was Lillian Grant.

The Pipes & Drums of the Canadian Women's Army Corps were established on 8 August 1942 and disbanded in 1946.
Their (only) Pipe Major was Lilian Mary GRANT, who was born in 1916 in Victoria BC and who died in 1996 in Victoria BC.
There were also Pipes & Drums in the British Auxiliary Territorial Service (P/M Nancy Anderson) and the Australian Women's Army Service (P/M Ellen Grady) during WW2, but these were established slightly later.
