Default JIm Dunsmore?

well recently i was asked to write an essay on my favoroute hobby for english, so obviously i wrote about my love of pipe band drumming ! one thing, oneday after class my english teacher held me behind (at the time i thought it was for spelling lol) and asked who i played for, i told him and then found out that he used to play for SHotts as a side drummer, and that he won the world solo drumming twice and once came second (i cant remember if he said at nov. juvinile or juvinile). so ive dun a search on the web and i cannot find any info about him, does the name ring a bell to any of u?

thanks,

BD

We had a junior world champion drummer in a local band I played in ...in Watford in the early seventies,.His name was Pat Redington
He knew Donald Mcleod & served in The Seaforths with him I believe..
He was a very loud player.

He had a heart attack whilst we were on a gig , in Watford ,, & died the next day.
