Default Trapdri cleaning

My trapdri tube trap is looking very disgusting and nasty.

Any tips on how I could clean it, and what I could use? Thanks

Run the plastic pipe under hot water, this will soften the plastic pipe enough to push the trapdri out. Once out you can clean the components easily. Once dry repeat the process with the hot water to get the plastic pipe soft enough to get the trapdri back into the plastic pipe.

Yes ,..my same process too. Iíve used a waterproof marker and marked the tubing to ensure easily putting it back in correctly the first time ....with those little holes in the right position.

I found a plug in "tea kettle" works well for this. The vinyl tubing that they use is pretty thick and hard to work with but running some near boiling water over it softens it enough to be workable for a minute or two.

I actually ended up installing my TrapDri in a silicon tube instead of their vinyl which is more flexible inside the bag, doesn't move the blowpipe anywhere and is easier to get in and out for cleaning.
