Default Dampers

Hi Folks,
Does anybody have or know of a source for 2" by 4"
guncloth (cloth with red horizontal lines)in the UK, this seems to have gone out of production, but I still prefer for dampening bottom head of tenor's.
Or does anyone have any suggestions as an alternative

Default Re: Dampers

You should try the stuff from Kenny up in Aberdeen. Think his company is called Bass and Tenor Supplies. It's like a cut too size dampening foam (similar to a Remo muffler) . You put a velcro strip inside the shell then stick the foam as high or low as suits your taste. We use it on all our Bass section.
