Default P/M Peter R. MacLeod (Cameronians) and sons

I am trying to complete the details I have about P/M Peter R. MacLeod (1878-1965), Pipe Major of the Cameronians during WW1, and 2 of his sons who were also a P/M in the military; I have the following:
MacLeod, Peter Roderick (father)
- born: 1878 Uig, Lewis
- died: 1965 Glasgow
- WW1: P/M Cameronians (Scottish Rifles), 7th Bn
MacLeod, Peter Roderick (son)
- born: 1916 (1918?)
- died: 1972
- WW2: P/M Rhodesia Regiment, 2nd Bn
MacLeod, Ian (son)
- born:
- died:
- WW2: P/M Highland Light Infantry, 9th Bn
In particular I would like to know their year/place of birth and death (if not mentioned above) and when they were P/M in the military (year from-to).
I have tried several other sources, but sofar without success.
Your help will be appreciated.

Default Re: P/M Peter R. MacLeod (Cameronians) and sons

The US Bicentennial Collection Book 2 says Peter R. MacLeod Jnr was born in 1918 and died in 1972. The short bio on him on Jim McGillivray's website agrees with this. According to the second source, MacLeod died November 25, 1972 in London. Also from Jim's site, Peter R. MacLeod Snr. was born December 13, 1878.
