He used to play with the City of Washington Pipe Band way back when.

I understand that AG Barr is a very competent piper, having played with a Grade 2 competition band a few years ago, and even went to the Worlds to compete with an upper level band. Someone said that he is either a Gr 2 or perhaps a Grade 1 piper! Either way, I thought it was neat that he surprised his cohorts with his playing.


Hopefully members of this forum will put their personal politics aside and give AG Barr a thumbs up. As a piper, he's one of us.

I don't know who the guy is, but the playing seems OK to me, even though his posture is not something I'm used to seeing.
