Default HTS 200 restoration/rebuild

Iím working on restoring a HTS 200 and I am getting to the point where I need to do something with the hardware. It looks like it was powder coated then spray painted over. There are a lot of chips and nicks in both the powder coat and in the paint. Iím curious what people have had success with. Should I re-powder coat 💸, strip it all and paint it, strip it and try and polish it or is there another option like bluing?
Thanks!
