Default Reed recommendation
My wife is giving me a Cocobolo MacLellan MAC-1 solo chanter for Christmas.

Any personal experience on reeds?

My pipes are 12-year old Wallace ABW Classic 4s.

Chesney all the way. Played one in a pal's MacLellan chanter a while ago and it was awesome. Stable, crispy and clear.
