Default Chirping?

Can anyone tell me what the common causes of "chirping" are? Tat single chirping sound that occurs when changing notes-for me its esp on the bottom hand..Its not "squealing"- dont think-as some people describe..it on note change and is one brief chirp sound..its annoying and ruins a mediocre played turn-Over blowing? Fingers not covering a hole somewhere? Thanks!

Could be that the holes aren't completely covered, reed too dry, too much tape on high G...a few possibilities.

Are you chirping on your practice chanter or pipe chanter?
