Default Ted Anderson Hemp

I'd been having a hard time finding the right hemp for small pipe drones. The yellow stuff I usually used for highland pipes was too thick and various threads tended to come unbound, even with waxing.

After reading some reviews on the forum, I decided to get some of Ted Anderson's hemp, and I'm sold. The single ply is just right for smaller bores and it holds wax well and will stick to itself without much treatment. Ted was also a great resource and a pleasure to do business with. Really nice to be able to work with someone who not only knows what he's doing, but wants to do it well.

I'm definitely a convert and will probably be scraping my yellow hemp on highland pipes in favor of Ted's hemp as well. He's also a great resource for various waxes and and drone and chanter reed cane. Highly recommended.
