These look very very similar to a set recently refurb'd by Derek Marr.

Had a message from Derek - not the same instrument, just coincidentally the same damage (Derek's one was a tenor top, the eBay one is a bass).

I saw Derek's FB post of the repair, blew my mind a bit how well he got things lined up.

This set would be well worth it if you bought it had it refurbished back to great condition.
