Some years ago I attended a concert in small town Nova Scotia put on by a travelling Baroque instrumental ensemble, and saw that one of the players was a lady with the last name Rigler. After the concert I spoke to her and asked whether she was related to that top notch piper Eric Rigler. She looked a bit surprised and said that he was her brother, and added "I am going to tell him you asked. He gets so tired of people asking him whether he is related to me."

I'll throw Davie Hutton's name in here......
Won many world championships with Muirhead & Sons them won a heap more with Shotts.
I suspect he will be the highest total world championships with two bands.
