Default Roddick Drone Reeds Reviews?

Hi all, does anyone have any reviews of the Gator Gob, the machined, and the pitch black drone reeds from Roddick?
http://bagpipeharness.com/reeds/

Thanks,
Jack

We will try get some more out there, School of Piping have kindly offered to review our new range so will take them up on it.

Will take on board your comments re the site and get some more info on there.

Thanks for your interest, we will always refund 100% if any product not up to expectations.

I'm interested in that "Gator Gob"! At least for the name of the reed.

Hi Colin,

I just got a look, and I'm thinking I'd like to order/try these out.

I noticed on the website, the drop down says "Set - Standard Tongues" ...

... what does this refer to, "standard tongues" ... are there (or can there be) non-standard, or alternate tongues?

Inquiring minds would like to know.

Cheers,
~Nate

It looks like standard or inverted.

I have recently received a Gator Gob. Havenít played it much yet but my initial impression was that itís buzzy and very deep sounding, compared to my Canning inverted bass. Iíll post again when Iíve played it for longer.
