Yes it is. At least the most familiar beginning of the suite. Wonderful work you've done there. Congrats.

Spectacular! You could make a matching sporran and brogues!

Default A recording.

https://drive.google.com/open?id=17W..._sgQv4dAjgGi7J

It's a long file and you might be prompted to "play anyway" - just play anyway.

I recorded this after work today, after an hour and a half of playing (losing steam by this point LOL). My bag, brand new Edge drone reeds, Husk chanter reed (which I successfully managed to chip within 24 hours of receiving in the mail.) No gizmo's in the bag. Gandy chanter. MacDougalls. It's Lachlan MacNeil Campbell of Kintarbert's Fancy.

This was after an hour and a half of playing without stopping... so... losing steam by this point, but there you have it.

Let me know what you think.

Here's one I just finished in dark brown with rivets. Got carried away punching the holes for the rivets at the back of the bag - lesson learned. Rivets are a truly brilliant innovation by Michael MacHarg. The original bag (the subject of this thread) was glued like a Gannaway, allowing the bag to open up fully. This riveted version pinches the bag tight at the bottom, making it feel thinner under the arm - much more comfortable. I also altered the shape of it, forcing the bag up in the front (and the back), but positioning the chanter up a little higher.

Gorgeous, Andrew. When you start offering these for sale, please put me down for a goat- or sheep-skin with tooled leather overlay. That would be simply magnificent. Or you could just offer your tooled leather as a pipe bag cover...?

I've enjoyed this thread...more proof that pipe bags in general are far overpriced whether at the manufacturer or retail level...and most of them leak to boot from my experience with their glued seams and poor construction.

Hmm...Andrew, I'd be interested to know what you'd have to charge for one of these bags in order to make a healthy living at it. Think some people might find the number surprising.
