Default Slow Air publication

Does anybody know where this tune was published ?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C__jImzTNEY&t=26s

It is a nice version tho , must be very early and original.

There is also the Stuart Liddel version , a bit different but still moving , does anyone have a source for that too ?

That's the Seumas MacNeill setting being played in the video, I think Seumas was the first to publish this tune by John Campbell, it's in his Book 1.

The Scots Guards setting of Fair Maid of Barra is more like how Angus MacDonald used to play it, I haven't looked at the SG book for a while, but as far as I can recall, it's the same as the setting in one of the Angus MacDonald books, (Vol 1, I think).

The tune is also in the Cabar Feidh Collection, as well as various online sources like Jim McGillivray and Jack Lee, but I prefer the Seumas MacNeill, maybe because that's the first version I learned from the dots, but I never actually played it like Seamus, I still have the original recording from the 60's and he cuts the notes in two bars quite harshly for a slow air, in my own uneducated opinion.

The "Fair Maid of Barra" was Morag MacAulay (1911-1998).
