Default Drone reed preference in MacLellan drones

Looking to see what other Maclellan owners are playing for drone reeds, and why.

Ezee inverted bass and regular Ezee tenors were the best combination I ever discovered. Most every thing else sounded like a leaf blower to me.

Rockets are also great if you can find a set. Though you will sound like a one person pipe band with the immense volume and overtones those will bring. YMMV.

I've many drone reeds in mine and I have a strong preference for the Kinnaird Leaf Blower, sorry, Evolution model.

Here's a double tracked recording with them in a MacLellan Millennium set:

I play an old set of Crozier Glass drone reeds in my MacLellans. I've had judges compliment me on the tone.
