Default Willie MacCallum bannatyne pipe bag

I am looking for a new pipe bag and was wandering about the willie macCallum pipe bag. Does anyone have experience with these bags?

I have used this bag for about a year. I'm 5'4 female and find it an excellent fit. It's easy to dry and I use the Ross moisture control in it because I didn't really take to the Bannatyne one.

It gives a nice lift to your hand position and keeps everything quite neat, a nice drone position as well.

The hybrid bag is comfortable to play, but I found the bag held a lot of moisture and didn't breathe as well as I'd like.

I like it. It has a great shape. Similar to a Gannaway.

Going on 5 years with mine. Nice for solo playing - left forearm is freed up a bit more, and there's enough of a bag to allow smooth, steady breathing.

Not using it for band competitions, though: I like the small bag, as it gives me more control for starts and stops. Silly, I know, but less bag means quicker emptying for good cut offs.

(I might be making that up. A lot of what goes on in the forums is anecdotal confirmation bias.)

I have used one for a while now and absolutely love it. It's very comfortable to use and strike in's and cut off's are easy too with this bag. I would definitely recommend trying it. I do use the Ross Cannister system with it. No moisture issues as of yet.

Thanks for all the information. I just put mine together and I have to say the shape is awesome. It makes playing very enjoyable and comfortable
