Why Everything Capitalised?

I Was Wondering Why In The Trading Post That Every Word Is Usually Capitalised.

In German All Nouns Are Capitalised, But Usually In English Only Proper Nouns Are. Except With Our Trading Post.

For Me It Makes Things A Bit Hard To Read, Just A Personal Thing I Know.

Now I Will Click Submit New Thread.

I thought everything was capitalized in America? From the majuscule to Highland Bagpipe. On a sliding valuation scale, from Low G to High A.

Mike I think he means that the First Letter Of Each Word is in uppercase.

No, I got his drift, just can't see it as a 'always' or 'every post' deal, yes some posts (or titles) are All First Letter In Caps, but not everyone of them.

It certainly isn't the forum doing this, the software isn't capable of doing that. Could be moderator edits, but the mod's in charge there haven't chimed in so I'm leaning towards...

Some people post their items with the subject in "headline" case. Some don't. Some I edit, some I don't. Depends on the item, what time I have (or don't), but there's no hard and fast rule.

I had thought that the standard rule for a title (which is what
I presume the subject line to be) was that all words, except
for articles, were to be capitalized.

(Is this not the case?)

Yup. Unless there has been a recent vagary in the rules of writing style, I thought the same save for small articles like "of" and "the" sometimes remaining lower case.
