Anxious to give mine a work out this coming week. FWIW I plugged in a standard Shepherd reed Ďout the boxí...about 29Ē...I set HA at 482....LA was right there too...no tape.

Quick observations: itís about 1/8Ē longer than my soled go to MK2.
The holes are round..and most a tich higher ( closer to the reed seat) ..though the space from the bottom of the chalice to the HG is a bit greater than on the MK2. HA hole is pretty much the same place.
Its sole-less foot is a bit different profile than prior models....no stepped rings and a slight taper on the foot.
Didnt confirm the throat diameter with tools...it does appear a tich larger. But,no sweat...what it is is what it is.

So...looking forward to playing it at 482....to see howzo and wazzup.

Did you receive them?

I'd love to hear a reedmaker's viewpoint.

I decided to order one, but it will take a while, it's bespoke, with the big old-school imitation ivory sole.

Seriously the O's in Gaelic are deadly.

Seems that there's a number of different vowel-sounds designated by that letter.
