Default Oops. Wrong band concert!

Couple mistakenly takes romantic trip to see Red Hot Chilli Pipers, not peppers

With me, it'd be the other way around: "What the heck are they trying to pull - These guys aren't pipers!"

Seems people who make incredible mistakes are usually rewarded.

Watch for it.... the wonderful band, Red Hot Chili Peppers will hook them up.

I like both bands, and have seen both live. They've definitely upgraded

One thing I've never worked out is how they get away with that name. A silly pun is fine for a band that plays in pubs but the Chillis are serious earners. I'm surprised the ""real" band haven't put the trademark police on them.

I seem to remember reading that he Pipers asked the Peppers for their ok to use the name.....which was given!

Agreed...they're also not known for their sense of humor. They are one of the few acts to publicly state their dislike for a Weird Al parody of one of their songs. I'd imagine a possible trademark issue would really irk them.
