Greetings to All,

As I oil my pipes... with The Doctor's Bore Oil...
every 8 to 12 months... depending... upon the
climates... in which they are played... and the
duration of my two sets playings... I have no
fear of having to immediately... swap out their
bores... at the end of every engagement.

Later that evening... or even... the next day...
will suffice... as this product gives me surety...
as to both the present... and the on-going...
condition of the drones... and of the stocks.

Trusting that all may find comfort... in what
ever regimen... they may employ, :)

With regards,

Pip01

I haven't even disassembled my pipes for 4 years or so since I had to to put them in a case when I was in a band. Normally I play and then lay them on the back of the couch and if I remember I will take out the blow pipe. I clean the Moose valve every two years whether it needs it or not and maybe once a year I'll take a look in the bag. I probably haven't oiled in 6 years!

Somewhy in piping since first handling a set of pipes in 1959 ,except for a few really wicked weather experiences during a some NYC St Pats parades in the Ď70ís and in NJ ca 2016...Iíve not hardly gone bonkers on swabbing, silk patches, cleaning rods etc..mainly laying out on a table overnight with the zipper open...yes.

With multiple sets of old ,older and newer pipes ....no notable issues.
