Aye they bounced back well! Really liked the Powers medley, and SLOTs.

Hector the hero has a special place in my heart, and Inveraray did it proud again.

Looking at the score sheet, I was surprised at FMM only being placed 4th in the medley.

Very happy for Inveraray on their win. Not surprising at all; they certainly played exceptionally well. That said: I was quite blown away by FMM's sound. A nine man front! They played fabulously, and with over 20 pipers in the circle, they sounded huge! Very impressive.

The entire event was great. All of the Grade 1 bands laid down excellent performances and were a joy to watch and listen to. I do not envy the judges their task. At such a high level of performance, I would be hard pressed to rank them.

Many congrats to Stuart Liddell and Inveraray on their victory. A great win!

I was doing what seems to be the WUSPBA standard protocol of waiting at least a month before acknowledging any contest results on the internet.

Jim, unless you know something I don't about the World's results, this is the Bob Dunsire forum, not a WUSPBA site, or any other pipe band association site. Here we just share news of results, yes once in a while reported erroneously but I didn't mention their placing, just a hey way to go, congrats, to one of our local So-cal bands.

Cheers
