Default What is your favorite tune?

As I sit here confined to a bed for the next week, I am a bit bored. I can't even blow a PC, but I can wiggle my fingers on a chanter and hum. I have been away from the newest music for a few years, but the year of the tune is not important.

What is your all time favorite bagpipe chune?

I arranged, as has SLOT and Shotts, Arnish Light as a hornpipe. It is wicked fun and has a great melody.

My version can be heard here:

I hadn't heard that before, I like it.

Cameroonian rant is also a great tune.

Limited to just one, I would have to choose Cabar Feidh.
Might be a bit of family tie in to that one. lol
Cheers

I am particularly fond of The Highland Wedding, and also the hornpipe, Donald MacLeod. The Curlew is right up there too.

I like Farewell to Nigg.

Train Journey North by Tom Anderson.
FMM play it in one of their medleys and it is outstanding.
Tommy would be proud.
