4. MacCleod's controversy
5. His Father's Lament for Donald MacKenzie
6. Too Long in this Condition

Jigs
1. Piper of Drummond
2. Michael's Peeps
3. Tombstone's welcome to the Black Cat Bar

Siege Of Delhi, probably because it was my best comp tune.
Green Hills. I just like it. Always have.
Dundee Military Tattoo. Strident and easy enough to play.
Blue Bonnets -- too bad I can't play it well enough. First pipe tune that caught my ear when a child.
42nd Highlanders march -- second tune that caught my ear when I was a kid. Always screamed "this is bagpipes" to me.

Battle of the Somme. My new favorite.

Flowers Of The Forest I still think is the most beautiful pipe tune out there; too bad it can only be played on certain occasions, but then that's part of what makes it a special tune.

There are so many great tunes that this could go on forever. Another few that come to mind are:

Torosay Castle,
Cullen Bay (5/4),
The Clumsy Lover

My favorite changes every day or two, but today it's The Poetic Milkman by Ian Hardie.

I liked it in Rossini's William Tell as well
…and "The Steamboat" in the Christmas Tree Scene in Tschaikovsky's The Nutcracker as well

I have been searching these tunes, or at least the ones I cant remember, and have enjoyed hearing them.
I am a wee bit surprised at the volume of slower chunes. Lots of marches, airs, and piobreacheds. More surprised at the lack of hornpipes and jigs. I expected a list more like this.

Jim tweedys Sea Legs
Itchy Fingers
The man fron Skye
Steam train to Mallaig
Hellbound Train
Malts on the optics
Bronnies Blue Brozzi
Etc.

One of the more interesting aspects of searching these tunes is that, after watching them on YouTube there are a list of other similar videos below. It is easy to get lost in those for an hour hearing tunes you havent even thought of for decades
