Default Looking for tunes specific to Clan Hamilton

Title says it.

A member of our band has been asked to play for Duke of Hamilton during a visit next year. Looking for applicable tunes.

If not Hamilton, then appropriate for a welcome for a man of his stature.

Thanks

Well, easiest thing first would be to utilize Pekkar's excellent tune database:

Tunes with "Hamilton" in the name:

http://www.patrickmclaurin.com/tuned...bmit&fuzzy=Yes

Tunes composed by anyone named "Hamilton:"

http://www.patrickmclaurin.com/tuned...bmit&fuzzy=Yes

Happy searching!

Cheers!

I think I would avoid "Hamilton's Nut Sack", just to be on the safe side.

You could look a little wider than tunes that have "Hamilton" in the title.

For example you might see if there are tunes referencing Clan Hamilton places such as Brodick Castle or the Isle of Arran.

Probably a bit advanced for this indivdual.

There are many tunes written by Chris Hamilton.
The New Century Collection, from RMMB has about eight of them..
