Default What Tie is This?

I noticed that both Angus MacColl Sr. and Stuart Liddell are wearing the exact same tie. Purple and Green bands with a gold and black stripe.

Does anyone know the significance of this tie?

Just having done a PDQ dash through the MoD
regimental ties... nothing seems to even come
close... much the less be a match.

Perhaps... a civvy street designation... town or
county... or a specific association or group?

Maybe someone forgot their tie one day and one lent theirs to the other.

That's not the same tie. That one has red instead of dark blue thin stripe and blue instead of purple thick stripe.

Probably a military unit, school, pipe band, or society.

Since I know nothing about these men's backgrounds, I wouldn't know which they have in common.
