Default Information "Bagpipe Trend,11355, U.S.A."

I came across this wooden box couple months ago. My guess is that it was a pipe case. It had contact paper/fabric on the outside and inside. The inside lid had this: "Bagpipe Trend,11355, U.S.A." on a similar plastic fabric. Googled this but no information. The number is a zip code in Flushing, NY.

Does anyone have additional info?

The name "Bagpipe Trend" sounded familiar so I did a search and found a few sets from ebay's archives marked Bagpipe Trend advertised as being made between the 50s and 70s. It may have been a small time pipe maker. Good luck in your hunt for more info.

I was not familiar to with the name Jack Ironside, did a google search for him and found posting at this site as "Jack Ironside - Scottish Shopper??". This was placing him on the west coast.

New. He sold soft cases for practice chanters. I believe he just put the Bagpipe Trend logo on other products. He did not make pipes.

I recently got a chanter and some kids pipes in a box of misc. parts. The chanter has "Bagpipe Trend" on it. It is not well made. The holes are counter sunk, and it looks too thin to make much tone.

I am reviving this thread because I have just come across a full set bearing the mark "Bagpipe Trend". I have given it a dedicated thread here: http://forums.bobdunsire.com/forums/...39#post1342839
