Anyone care to post the band results of the two-day contest?

Hi Ian,

The results can be found through the link at the bottom from P&D...interesting weekend, pouring rain one day, and hot and sunny the next. Fun times in the Maritimes!

What a wicked weekend for bands. The quality of music coming out of each grade was exceptionally high. It was great to see so many bands pushing the limits of their grade. Grade 4 was a great example of this. The College of Piping and Dartmouth both have bands that would be pulling prizes at the grade 3 level, but their musical interpretation was what was most impressive.
Couple that with the Gaelic College, who have a very good grade 3 band, and a heated grade 2 competition, and the weekend was an impressive example of the high calibre of competition we enjoy here on the east coast.
An awesome start to the season!

The Beertent was definitely packed, and twice the size than previous years, it was a wicked time with the Irish Decendants on Friday, and The Fables on Saturday!

Definitely not 10,000 people ... good times though. It would have been nice to see more people during the day.

Once of the best grade 4 contests I ever seen. The College of Piping and Dartmouth are certainly going to be an exciting contest all summer!
