Default Name some great reels

Having been looking through a few books and the "pipefest" apps in search of reels I love, not much is grabbing my interest.
Please feel free to offer some favorite reels.
Mine currently being:
The Gravel walk
Asleep at the wheel
Lexy Mcaskill

Much thanks

"Kelsey's Wee Reel" goes very nicely with "The Gravel Walk"

Hate to be a pedant but do you mean Alec C. MacGregor?

Brilliant tune, by the way.

As far as reels go, I am currently enjoying playing Hamish Moore's arrangement of Moving cloud, and the Girls in Boisdale by Ryan J. MacNeil.

In my opinion, on Highland pipes, the classic Highland pipe reels are far nicer than watered-down uilleann/trad Irish reels.

The most fun I've had in a pipe band is playing The Sheepwife in a circle of good players (all a lot better than me!). All those cracking tachums chirping out!

My favourite would include

The Sheepwife
Thompson's Dirk
John Morrison of Assynt House
Pretty Marion
Charlie's Welcome
The Smith of Chillichassie
The Little Cascade

Are these overplayed nowadays? Probably... but it's because the best bands tend to be attracted to the best tunes.
