Default A new recording of old tunes

I have just posted a short youtube video of scottish smallpipes and guitar for anyone interested. The three jigs performed were collected from the northern tip of Cape Breton and have been published in my recent collection of history and music. The first tune Miss MacGregor's Favourite, first appeared in William Ross collection in the 1870s and has been absorbed into the dance traditions of Cape Breton. The second and third tunes were gleaned from the playing of Dan Rory MacDougall (1885-1957) and his son Mike MacDougall (1928-1981). The last tune has a definitive Irish flavour. Enjoy and thanks

That was great! Found myself bobbing my head about like everyone else in the audience! Thanks for sharing.
